Metrobor company is a large centre of industrial glass processing, which meets all the requirements of international standards.
Established in 1994, the company is constantly mastering new advanced technologies and launches new types of products at its own expense.
1995 - lamination bay;
1997 - new Lisec assembling line for glass units;
1998 - new Bystronik line of glass cutting;
1999 - production of laminated (triplex) glass;
- bay of glass units production (using "Heat Mirror" technology);
2001 - new bay of glass processing;
2002 - new bay of glass bending;
- expanding of warehouse for finished products.
Using advanced equipment, the company produces glass units of various forms, including bent ones, with a wide range of performance abilities (energy saving, solar control, noise consumption, etc.) triplex glass (flat and bent), fire-resistant and bullet-proof glass, performs polishing of rims, drilling of holes, mounting of translucent structures.
At present Metrobor is the sole producer of glass units after the American "Heat Mirror" technology and is one of a few Russian companies, which manufacture glass units of area exceeding 8 sq. m.
Metrobor widely uses high quality large (3.2x6 m) multipurpose glass of the world's leading corporations Pilkington, Saint-Gobain and Glaverbel, which has a wide range of colouring enabling to realize original architectural solutions.
Glass units produced by Metrobor are mounted in the State Russian Museum, in shopping malls Gostiny Dvor, Passage, in the exhibition centre Lenexpo, in the Ice Palace, in the halls of the metro stations Staraya Derevnya, Krestovsky Ostrov, and in many other historical and modern buildings.
The products are also delivered to the large objects of the North-West and all over Russia. Metrobor is being certified according to ISO 9001.
The achievements of the company were estimated at its true worth in 2001 - Metrobor became laureate of the "Sign of Public Recognition" in the nomination "Contribution into the Credit of a National Entrepreneur".
